My creative space

The quilt that you may have seen in my last post was part of a present that I have been working on for my sister and her new baby girl Phoebe. You may remember I made some personalised bunting for my other sister when she had her baby girl Ella a couple of months ago.

Well since I made some for Ella it was really only fitting that I also make some for Phoebe as well.

Phoebe's Room
When I picked out the fabric for this project nobody knew whether the baby was going to be a boy or girl, so I tried to find something which would suit either sex. Going by the colours that the baby's room is painted in - Sassy Red and a citrus green called Wiggle - I chose two fabrics to work with.

Obviously I couldn't complete the name until after she was born, but due to the fact that I took my own sweet time to get started on this project little baby Phoebe had already arrived safe and well into this world by the time I had finally begun.
Bunting for Phoebe
I really like the way it came out looking and combined with the owl quilt I think it makes a lovely present to welcome a brand new little person to the world.
All ready to go to a new home!
I find taking photos of bunting is not always an easy thing to do and so I quite often call on my little friends to help me out.
But of course there can't be some photo taking without a little bit of fun and silliness though, right?!
Silly girls!
